NEW YORK, BABY!!

Well, I felt the need to post something new because the creepy old man picture was really starting to creep me out. Since all I can think about these days is the New York trip, I'll post about that. I am not doing nearly as good a job as my friends of coming up with things to do in New York. So far, our list of things to do includes central park, times square, the met, brooklyn bridge, ground zero, shopping, stalking late night talk show hosts etc etc.. (i am too lazy to type out the rest..). All I have been able to add is chinatown, greenwich village, museum of modern art, and nbc studio tour (although i might be the only one who wants to do that last one..). Can you guys think of anything else? What's the first thing you would do in New York? aaaaaaaaand go!

I don't know if it's the first thing I would do but, I think it was in New York that there is a HUGE bookstore...I think...now if I could only remember what it's called that would probably help out more.

I would also love to see the public library system there. I'm curious about any differences between Canada and the States....this is turning out to be overly nerdy now isn't it?

Could you get tickets to a talk show? That would be aweseome! (Mark suggests Letterman) I think the nbs studio tour would be cool!

Can I also add, send pretty and stereotypically cheesy New York postcard to Jess? :)

if i find the elusive cool big bookstore, i'll be all over that.

libraries, not as entertaining for me.. i'm going on the trip to escape the book learning. if i walk by one, i'll take a picture.

i tried the talk show tickets for letterman, conan, and daily show.. they get booked crazy in advance. we might try for stand-by tix the day of taping, but it will be pretty unlikely that we get in. i'm really just hoping that if we do the nbc tour, i'll see conan walk by. that's my dream.

ok, postcards. i'll try to remember to make that magic happen.
